V&A Collection

We were thrilled when this new collection arrived yesterday. We have a wonderful selection of reproduction prints from original 1950s designs held by the V&A Museum. The designers are the likes of Jacqueline Groag (Mid Century Books), Shinkichi Tajiri (Mid Century Trees) and Hilda Durkin (Mid Century Rooftops). We love the subtle shades of these designs, I’d like to make a quilt with this collection - watch this space!

These are beautiful prints. Why has no-one ever reproduced the prints that Henry Moore made during the austerity period around World Ward 2? I’ve seen them and they are truly wonderful.
