I have bought some beautiful fabrics from you time and time again and today I have treated myself to some more lovely fabrics. I have bought them to use on my current project, I have a large family and have a new baby nephew and 2 new nieces as well as quite a few friends have recently had or having babies. One friend in particular has recently had twin baby boys 2 months premature and so U am making them and my nieces and nephew bandana style dribble bibs. The ones I have made so far have been well received and I think they will especially love the new bibs with these beautiful prints. If I was to be lucky enough to win this fabric bundle I would use it to make a patchwork baby quilt and I know it would look lovely. I love fabric rehab thank you for your lovely prints :)

I’m currently in pensive mode, having finished 2 tops in just as many weeks. I’m bolstering myself up for the Liberated Round Robin 2012 (http://liberatedroundrobin.blogspot.com) which starts this coming Friday. Those fabrics could come in useful!

I am making a crazy patchwork hand embroidered pouch for keeping letters in. I’ve recently started writing more letters and wanted somewhere to keep the ones I have received. I keep meaning to start a pin cushion that attaches to my sewing machine. I always forget to bring the box to the machine and they end up everywhere!

What lovely fabrics you have – I could spend all day browsing your site and spend a fortune. I came across your site while home recuperating after a major operation and have told all my stitching friends to have a look. I’m currently making new cushion covers, planning a new quilt and trying to work out what I can make to cover a window that is high up on a wall almost at the top of the stairs and unreachable except by ladder (I just know a man designed this house)

Next is a multilayered ‘petal’ fairy skirt for my 4yr old niece…
Thereafter… it depends what fabrics I get to inspire me!

I have a notebook full of ideas, and pretty much all of your fabrics bookmarked at this point.
Hours spent drooling over your site… then wiping the keyboard clean and getting new ideas.
My top favourite is go make quilt for my baby girl. Or a pstchwork teddy. Or maybe a wall hanging.

BUT! All the while I’m in theory working on a quilt project now known as Mrs Rochester. Because it’s hidden in the attic, beautiful but coming apart at the seams. I need a Jane Eyre project to save me!!

I am busy ‘making’ for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, helping raise much needed funds to provide warm, safe homes, food and vet care for the animals.
A raffle held between some fellow animal lovers recently raised sufficient to sponsor a kitty kabin.
I am passionate about helping these animals.
The fabric would be put to very good use and would benefit the animals greatly.

Believe me, none of it would get wasted !! Thank you fabric rehab for your quirky, fun and colourful designs *

I’m new to sewing – got a sewing machine for Christmas having borrowed one to make my daughter an angel costume for her Christmas play and been bitten by the sewing bug! My sister just got a sewing machine too – I’ll be getting her one of your fabric bundles for her birthday to go along with the apron I’m making.

This week I’ll be mostly…..making a mothers day gift for my wonderful mother-in-law. I’m trying quilting for the first time and attempting to make quilted table mats. Hope it works! Also, whilst I was looking for appropriate, matching fabrics for the quilting, I found some cool tartan wool and remembered I have a pattern for a cool tulip skirt, so I’ll give that a bash soon too! :)

I’m working on a few little projects at the moment. I bought some happy home cups fabric from you recently for an apron, I’m making some soft baby blocks with the Scandi apples fabric, and am going to use some of the Taali fabrics for a soft cover for my sewing machine. I’m also planning to make a few small things for a Cancer Research UK fete in a couple of months’ time (patchwork bookmarks, beanbag chickens and superhero masks) and am squirrelling away lots of fabric pieces for my patchwork quilt!

My daughters, aged almost 1 and almost 4, are getting a wooden playhouse for the garden for their joint birthday present. Most of my Internet surfing is spent choosing the house. And all I can think about, project wise, is all of the soft furnishings I can make, and the beautiful fabrics I can make them with. Pretty curtains! Bunting! Floor cushions! I’m also thinking of cute little shelves, with fabric edging. And maybe a table cloth and matching napkins for the tea parties they’ll be having. I could go on… It’s going to be the best playhouse ever, and fabric rehab will ensure its the prettiest <3 <3

I also make lots of hanging hearts, and that fabric would be used to make some lovely Spring themed ones. On my list also is an owl cushion cover, which would use a few different fabrics. Then I have some bunting in mind, and the bright colours could be used to spruce up any room! They’re the ones at the top of my list, I could go on forever but I think that’s enough for now :) xx

I’ve decided to accessorise my little girls bedroom as we have another on the way, due to August, so she is moving into her new room. I’m using the Carolyn Gavin Soul Garden fabrics and starting with some bunting, then cushions, then bedding (dependent on how successful I am at each stage – maybe I’ll even make it to curtains!). I love these fabrics, they are bright and colourful and it’s so difficult to find room accessories off the shelf that aren’t baby pink. She’s much more a bright colours type of girl, like her mum :)

I have completed the top of a Ben 10 quilt for her 8 tear old disabled son, and have a Barbie quilt and a Minnie Mouse for her daughters. Once I have finished them, I have a quilt to celebrate an 80th birthday, this is going to have a family portrait printed onto fabric as a centre panel and then patchwork to frame it, I love doing something a little different.

I’m currently doing an art foundation course and continuously make use of fresh and vibrant prints in my work- which at the moment is focusing on inspirations from nature and simplifying the shapes to create new and exciting prints. I plan to combine my prints with other fabrics (such as the ones from you!) to make a sum-up patchwork final piece! Thanks :)

I have a few projects on the go (as always right!) and have just moved into a new house so have set up my craft area! I’ve actually finished a project which is a first for a good long time. I finished a baby quilt for a friends new little girl – Ebba, I used some wonderful gutterman colour changing thread for the quilting pattern and it looks really cute!
Projects on the go at the moment are an EPIC double quilt that i am making for myself – the first project for myself in a long time. It’s using all my odds and ends and it is taking forever, but I think it is going to look amazing. I also have a yellow baby quilt to get finished, and a travel document wallet…..the list is actually endless! And that’s just the sewing. If only I had a time-turner like Hermione Granger.

I wanted to create furnishings of my own that no-one else has, so I have made many cushions for the lounge, spare room, the main bedroom… ( actually anywhere I can put one now!) My boyfriend, i hasten to add, loathes cushion now! The sewing machine has given me a brand new hobby! My next project will be curtains for the bedroom and a patchwork for the bed. I love spending my days looking after her and sewing. I’ve just made a dress for a the Dress a Girl project – it was lovely to make it knowing that somwhere in the world a little girl would be wearing it who needs it!

Hi, Have just discovered your website tonight from magazine. Am busy making two kilts by hand, altering clothing for friends, sewing webbing straps for a friends’ boat, knitting kilt socks etc etc… Some friends’ want me to teach them how to sew – maybe at last I can do all the nice things I would love to do for myself – starting with a patchwork quilt.
Oh, I forgot to mention the rug to finish, tapestry, knitting for charity, curtains for grannie, trousers to hem….
    Who said retirement is boring?
Will certainly be placing an order soon.

I’m doing a City & Guilds course at the moment, and am just about to start on my second assessment project, using appliqué, so I’ll probably be designing and making a bag or a waistcoat.

What projects am I working on? How long have you got? Patchwork garden table cloth, cushions for new sofas, set of placemats and napkins, several quilts, two pairs of trousers to alter…in fact, now I’m listing them, I’m beginning to panic!

I bought some display curtains recently, the ones which give an example of what a full size curtain might look like, and athough they’re not big enough for curtains, I’m going to make some cushions as all the fabrics are gorgeous and they were bargains:)

What a fab idea this is – I have just stumbled across your website and am amazed that I haven’t visited before (I thought I knew every fabric store in Essex!). I’m a fabric-crazy woman and am currently making (and embroidering) a medieval jacket and (as always recently, it seems) miles of lovely bunting for the forthcoming festivities.

Lots of projects in my head, need to just get started – little bags for Easter Egg hunts, rabbit decorations for the Easter tree, bibs for the new baby, a dress for the not so new baby, napkings and a table runner for a birthday present, bunting for a friends wedding – eeeeek!

    What great fabric!
Looking forward to the Easter break to have the time to devote to all the ideas I have in my sketch book.
The combination of fabrics you have would fulfill lots of these.

I’m making a special 50th birthday present for a friend who loves elephants. So I’ve bought a whole load of elephant fabric (including Karavan by Valori Wells) and am making cushions, a clutch and a lavender filled aromatherapy bag…

You actually allow it to be sound easy along with your display even so discover this kind of theme to get basically one thing we assume I would personally never understand. This indicates also complicated and extremely large in my opinion. My business is taking a look ahead of time for your upcoming publish, Let me make an effort to get the hang of them!
